War is coming. While the Camarilla courts of the Imperium and the surrounding region mire themselves in internal squabbles and blindly pursue their selfish agendas, a new power rises in the East. From among the roving packs of the Balkan Sabbat, restless from the standing truce and complacent Voivodes, a new voice has emerged. Bolstered by rising chaos and violence in the mortal world, it calls upon the faithful, promising an endless night under the light of the red star. In the name of the Dark Father, it calls for the purging of the unbelievers, a wild hunt for all the puppets of the ancients who would proclaim themselves Princes and Tyrants of the sons of Caine. A glorious Crusade begins, and the Ivory Tower shall tremble.
As their domains burn, the desperate Elders of the Camarilla turn to the Sabbat's more reasonable voices for aid. The Tzimisce Voivodate, their static fiefdoms threatened by the zealous crusaders, have invoked their ancient traditions and agreed to broker a ceasefire. Under their watchful eyes, the warring sects shall meet in a final bid to end to the wanton bloodshed. But who can trust the Beast in the vampires' hearts, as the honeyed words and treacherous handshakes are so easily replaced by an unbridled rage and gluttonous hunger. Only the foolish or truly desperate enter this den of horror, and the fiends inside are hungry.
